I am a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. I have practised in London, Brighton and across the South East for 25 years and I’m a Registered Valuer.
I recently joined the Professional Department at Austin Gray. I mainly carry out valuations under Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993. This includes valuations for freehold and lease extensions. We act for substantial freeholders including RLHA, Hyde Housing and Bellway Homes and cover the whole of the South East area.
I also regularly undertake valuations for probate, inheritance, and capital gains tax. Including large portfolio valuations, some of which have over 80 properties.
Prior to this I worked in London for a number of private companies that worked closely with Local Authorities. These Councils included Lambeth, Croydon, Barking & Dagenham, Ealing, Kensington & Chelsea and Islington. The spectrum of valuation work here included disposals of land and property, CPO development projects, lease extension valuations, Right to Buy and Housing Revenue Account valuations.
