Perseverance on the part of ourselves, our seller & seller’s solicitors saw the “Clock Shop” Hurstpierpoint exchanged to a delighted purchaser on a 28-day auction contract.
The Clock Shop located in the attractive setting of Hurstpierpoint village, was initially offered as a lot in our last auction but was withdrawn at the “11th hour” because documentation surrounding the lease was sadly outstanding.
We were delighted, through our ongoing discussions with the vendor & their solicitor that the full legal pack was drawn up in preparation for our May auction. Subsequently, the “lost time” created by the legal delays was made up when we achieved a pre-auction sale.
Auctions invariably offer up a speedy solution for our vendors with the no-nonsense 28-day auction contract so even where we have a delay as in this case, the sale is progressed at pace.
I’ll now stop with all the ‘time connotations’ – suffice as to say, our objective at Auction House Sussex is to expediate a sale in the most effective and efficient way. Therefore, if you’re looking to sell at auction do get in touch as we’re currently collating lots for our June auction.
